The North Platte Police Department is investigating the theft of a United States Postal Service community cluster mailbox taken from the 1100 block of S. Tabor Ave. Sometime between Wednesday, November 12th, and Thursday, November 13th an unknown individual removed the mailbox, which measures approximately 58 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 24 inches front to back.

On the September 26th, an unknown suspect entered the property and stole a concrete eagle sculpture measuring roughly 12 to 18 inches.

The North Platte Police Department is investigating two incidents of criminal mischief that occurred at Memorial Park, located in the 1100 block of East 4th Street in North Platte.
During the night hours between September 28 and the morning of September 29, and again between the night hours of September 29 and the morning of September 30, an unknown suspect spray-painted several outbuildings and structures in the park with the marking “T.T.K.”

On Monday, July 21, it was reported that an unknown individual entered a property in the 600 block of Sioux Meadows Drive and stole several motorcycle-related items. The stolen property included three Woolich tuning boxes, one for Harley Davidson motorcycles, one for Suzuki motorcycles, and one for Yamaha motorcycles, along with a black derby cover and a drive belt. The total estimated value of the stolen items is approximately $1,800.00.

Sometime during the night hours on December 4th and early morning hours on December 5th an unknown person(s) broke into two enclosed bumper pull trailers that were parked near Fatdogs Convenience Store located in the 3400 block of Halligan Drive in North Platte. The unknown person stole multiple power tools from both trailers. The loss value of the stolen items is approximately $4,000.00.

Sometime between the evening of July 21 and the morning of July 22, 2024, an unknown subject entered onto property in the 400 block of South Reynolds Avenue. While there, the subject stole a total of 8 fishing rod and reels combinations. The fishing rod brands include Whisker Seeker, Abu Garcia, Daiwa, Denali, and Lewis. The fishing reels stolen are a combination of spinning and bait casters. The estimated amount of the stolen fishing rods and reels is around $2,500.00.
