On November 8th, a residence on North Maxwell Road was burglarized. Force was used to break the door in on the residence. Numerous firearms and other property was removed.

During the evening hours of October 28th, the Vapor Lounge at the Platte River mall was forcefully entered. Many items were stolen, including a large amount of cash, two safes, numerous vape juices, e-cigarettes, box mods, and vaporizers.

On October 28th between 4 and 5 am, unknown persons used force to break and enter into the Westfield Pharmacy. Over $5000 in damage was caused to the property. The suspects took a large amount of cough syrup with Codeine in it, which is a controlled substance.

During the month of September and October, multiple vehicles have been entered and items stolen. These items are mostly tools, however thieves are stealing anything of value. Most of these items are being stolen from unsecured beds of pickups, or from unlocked vehicles. The most recent theft was of socket sets, combination wrenches, and a toolbox containing many other tools.

During the last week, multiple vehicles have had windows shot out possibly with a BB gun. This has occurred on the northwest and west sides of town. The damage thus far is over $1000.

During the evening hours of August 31st, 2018, two kayaks were removed from the yard of a residence in the 400 block of North Oak St. One kayak is a 10 foot long Sun Dolphin brand, Bali 10 SS, and is blue in color. The other is a black and neon green patterned, 8 foot long Nixie kayak. The loss is almost $1000.

On August 19th, 2018 at 830 pm, two female subjects entered a business in the 1400 block of S Dewey. The females went to the electronics area and asked about cell phones. While the employee was distracted by one female, the other stole almost $7000 worth of cell phones. Both females then left the business and left in dark colored car. During the nighttime hours of August 10th, 2018, a vehicle was stolen from the 200 block of Eugene. The vehicle is a white 1994 Ford F350 flatbed, with the Nebraska license plate 66-492A. There was a 1500 gallon water tank and pump on the flatbed, and it was towing a small black trailer with no plates. On that trailer was a Husqvarna concrete saw worth almost $40,000.

Between the dates of July 24th and 27th, an Arctic King brand window AC/heater unit valued over $400 went missing from a residence in the 1300 block of N Poplar. Also missing during the same time frame is a 4X8 homemade trailer. The trailer is red, has a half a tire affixed to the hitch jack and a tool box on the front is held down with a bungee cord.

During the last month, a locked shed in the 500 block of E 11th St was entered and several items were taken. The items taken were three gray hot water heaters, three washing machines, one of which is coin operated, a wooden ladder and also a metal ladder. The owner estimated that these items are worth $1600 altogether.

During the evening hours of July 13th, 2018 the windows of a bank in the 400 block of Rodeo Rd were shot at and damaged. Five windows were damaged and will cost over $2000 to repair. This crime has been repeated several times over the recent years.

During the evening hours of July 6th, 2018, a locked storage shed was entered in the 2600 block of W 20th St. The suspect caused damage to the shed and removed over $500 in items from it. Among the stolen items were two STIHL brand chainsaws, which were still in their orange cases.

Between June 27th and June 28th, an unknown person or persons shot the window of a pickup with a suspected BB gun. The window was shattered and will have to be replaced. This vehicle was parked inside an enclosed parking lot in the 100 block of east Highway 30 in Maxwell, Nebraska. The suspects may have also trespassed on the property.

UPDATE: THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN RECOVERED
During the evening hours of June 21st, 2018, an unlocked garage was accessed in the 800 block of East 14th St by an unknown person or persons. A black 1997 Toyota Camry bearing the Nebraska license plate 68-C990 was taken from the garage. The keys were inside of the vehicle. This vehicle was recovered Tuesday morning at a popular fishing spot by the North Platte Airport. We are asking the public for any information about the suspects.

During the weekend of May 18th, 2018, an unlocked garage was entered and a large amount of golf equipment was stolen. A black and blue Nike golf bag was taken, and the bag contained a set of golf clubs of varying brands including Taylor Made, Cleveland, and Odyssey. The total loss was over $1500.

During the night time hours of May 19th, 2018, a residence in the 200 block of S Chestnut was forcibly entered. The lock on the door was broken, the residence ransacked, and a collection of vintage albums was stolen. These collectible albums are worth several thousand dollars and include albums by Charlie Pride, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.

During the early morning hours of April 29th, someone broke into the Beyond Envy salon in the 400 block of S Chestnut. The thief used a pry bar to break into the building. The building was damaged in their efforts to break in. The thief got away with a large amount of cash along with the cash register drawer, however no products or other items were taken.
